QUICKDRAWS FOR SPORT CLIMBING

The trend in recent years is to create sets consisting of two connectors with the same body forgetting that they would perform very different functions together:
the first, usually a straight gate, should easily enter, turn, and be extracted from the anchor point, the second should allow the easy insertion of the rope.
KONG has created specific connectors that, combined with slings of suitable length and strength have given rise to the family of ARGON quickdraws.

Wire Set

Ultralight express quickdraw (only 69g!) equipped with two wire gate connectors Argon F.  The wire gate provides a four-times longer lifetime than the normal connectors, while also reducing the weight. 13 mm Dyneema webbing, 12 cm length, with the new ultra-resistant Fast Rubber, made of silicone.

Mix Set

The ARGON MIX set best embodies the new concept of quickdraw: the small connector with the Keylock system prevents snagging on the bolt, and the larger connector with the wire gate has a wider passage that facilitates the insertion of the rope.
The wire gate also provides a four-times longer lifetime than the normal connectors, in addition to reducing the weight.
13 mm Dyneema webbing, 12 cm length, with the new ultra-resistant Fast Rubber, made of silicone.
A perfect compromise between lightness and functionality; easy and comfortable to handle. The lever is easy to open.

 

KK Set

The Express KK quickdraw is equipped with the Argon K straight gate connector on top and the Argon RK bent gate connector on bottom.
